Boalemo – Satuan Lalu Lintas Polres Boalemo kembali menggelar sosialisasi dan himbauan penggunaan knalpot racing/ brong dengan menyambangi beberapa bengkel yang ada di kecamatan tilamuta. Selasa, (31/5/2022).
Sosialisasi dan himbauan ini dilakukan dengan cara mendatangi langsung bengkel kendaraan serta membagikan brosur tentang larangan penggunaan knalpot racing.
Kasat Lantas Polres Boalemo yang diwakili oleh Kanit Kamsel Bripka Taufikur Rachman dalam kesempatan itu meminta agar pemilik bengkel tidak melayani atau menerima pengendara yang ingin membeli knalpot brong.
Sebab kata dia, knalpot brong dapat menimbulkan suara bising yang berdampak pada kenyaman masyarakat.
“Penggunaan knalpot racing ini juga diatur dalam pasal 285 ayat 1, apabila tetap akan menggunakan knalpot brong, maka kami dari satuan lalu lintas akan bertindak tegas” Ucap Taufikur Rachman.
Jika hal ini tidak diindahkan, bukan hanya pengendara yang akan dilakukan penilangan, akan tetapi pemilik toko yang menjual knalpot racing pun akan diberikan teguran.
“Kalau ada sepeda motor knalpot racing pasti kami tilang, penjualnya akan kami berikan teguran.” Pungkas Kanit Kamsel.
