Gorontalo – Setelah sukses memimpin Taekwondo Indonesia Kabupaten Gorontalo. Kini, Dokter Irawan Huntoyungo, Sp.OT M.Kes dipercayakan nahkodai Komite Olahraga Nasional Indonesia (KONI).
dr. Irawan Huntoyungo,Sp.OT M.Kes sendiri terpilih secara aklamasi lewat musyawarah olahraga kabupaten (MUSORKAB) yang berlangsung di Pentadio Resort Kabupaten Gorontalo, Rabu (12/8/2021).
Saat dihubungi lewat via cellular, dr. Irawan Huntoyungo,Sp.OT M.Kes mengaku akan terus membangkitkan olahraga dengan cara mengolahragakan masyarakat dan memasyarakatkan olahraga. Sebab, menurutnya, KONI milik seluruh masyarakat Indonesia bukan sebagian elit politik ataupun pejabat.
Lebih lanjut, dr. Irawan Huntoyungo,Sp.OT M.Kes menginginkan, di bawah kepemimpinannya, KONI Kabupaten Gorontalo harus mandiri, tanpa ketergantungan dana pada Pemerintah Daerah.
“Meski KONI binaan Pemerintah tapi tidak bisa bergantung pada Pemerintah, walaupun harapan itu ada. Artinya, kita berharap bantuan pada Pemerintah, tapi bukan bergantung pada Pemerintah, jadi sekali lagi saya sampaikan KONI Kabgor harus mandiri” Ucapnya.
Untuk mewujudkan visi dan misi tersebut, KONI harus bisa mengelola anggaran atau pendapatan yang dihibahkan oleh Pemerintah. Agar, KONI memiliki dana kas tersendiri.
“Banyak yang kita akan lakukan,seperti kita bisa komersilkan beberapa tempat, kita bisa sewakan lapangan, kan bagus! Dan dananya jadi milik KONI itu sendiri” Ungkapnya lagi.
“Jangan nanti ada dana kita bergerak, jangan begitu dong! Kita bisa sendiri, artinya dana yang dari Pemerintah itu benar-benar kita gunakan untuk merangsang, bukan jadi utama” Tambahnya.
Disinggung soal program, dr. Irawan Huntoyungo,Sp.OT M.Kes mengatakan, saat ini dirinya bersama anggota KONI masih fokus untuk anggaran tahun 2022.
“Soal program nanti dibahas bersama, namun kami saat ini masih fokus dengan percepatan pelantikan, agar mempercepat legitimasi anggaran 2022” Tutur dr. Irawan Huntoyungo,Sp.OT M.Kes.
