Motimamango merupakan adat Gorontalo yang artinya adalah penyambutan atau penghormatan kepada tamu secara adat oleh Olipu (Pemerintah dan Masyarakat).
Adapun agenda Menteri Pemuda dan Olahraga, selain menyaksikan laga persahabatan antara Ps. Boalemo dan Persidago, Prof Zainudin Amali pun bersilaturahmi bersama para guru olahraga yang berlangsung di Pendopo. Senin, (23/1/2023).
Menteri Pemuda dan Olahraga, Prof Zainudin Amali, menyampaikan saatnya guru olahraga menjadi garda terdepan, jangan pernah merasa minder dengan guru-guru mata pelajaran lainnya.
“Biasanya guru olahraga itu tidak seperti guru mata pelajaran lain, tetapi guru satu-satunya yang ada organisasi di tingkat nasional, adalah guru olahraga, bahlan sekretariatnya tingkat nasional itu ada di kantor kemenpora, dulu guru olahraga, sangat sulit menjadi kepala sekolah, twrapi dua tahun belakangan ini, saya mendapatkan laporan banyak guru olahraga yang punya kesempatan menjadi kepala sekolah” Tutur Prof Zainudin.
Lebih lanjut, dirinya menginginkan para lulusan sarjana olahraga maupun guru akan setara dengan ilmu lainnya. Sebab menurutnya, guru olahraga memiliki peran penting dalam pembentukan sumber daya manusia.
“Jadi mata pelajaran harus diajarkan oleh guru olahraga yang memang betul-betul lulusan olahraga, dan memiliki kompetensi di olahraga, bukan lulusan lainnya” Ucapnya.
