Boalemo – Dinas Kesehatan Gorontalo Utara menggelar sosialisasi “Gerakan Masyarakat Cerdas Menggunakan Obat” (GeMaCerMat) , yang diikuti sebanyak 30 Peserta yang terdiri dari Kader Kesehatan, Aparat Desa dan masyarakat umum, yang berlangsung di Maqna Hotel. Selasa, (21/9/2022).
Kepala Bidang Yankes dan SDK, Apt. Fahriah S. Alamri S.Farm mengungkapkan, kegiatan ini digelar sebagai tindak lanjut program inovasi kementrian kesehatan.
“Program ini sudah sejak 2015, tetapi di gorontalo utara sendiri baru dicanangkan tahun 2017, kenapa inovasi ini lahir karena sesuai data riskesdas tahun 2013 sebanyak 13 persen masyarakat masih meyimpan obat di rumah dan melakukan Swamedikasi artinya melakukan pengobatan sendiri” ungkapnya.
Lebih lanjut, Apt. Fahriah Alamri S.Farm mengatakan kegiatan ini sudah dilakukan secara rutin setiap tahun sejak program ini di canangkan
“Jadi ini sebagai edukasi agar masyarakat lebih paham lagi bagaimana mendapatkan, menggunakan, menyimpan dan membuang obat dengan benar.
Pada kesempatan itu juga, dalam materi edukasi yang di sampaikan oleh Apt. Fahriah adalah memperkenalkan logo obat, perbedaan obat paten dan obat generik. Dirinya juga menjelaskan apa itu resistensi Antibiotik dan mempertegas kembali jika Antibiotik harus diperoleh dengan resep dokter.
Di akhir penyampaian materi, Apt Fahriah menyampaikan Obat adalah Madu ketika penggunaanya rasioanal dan akan jadi racun ketika penggunannya tidak rasional.
Apt. Fahriah juga berharap, setelah mengikuti kegiatan ini, masyarakat bisa lebih cerdas dalam menggunakan obat secara rasional.
