SHARENEWS.ID,Gorut- Presiden Republik Indonesia (RI) telah menetapkan Indonesia dalam situasi darurat narkotika dan obat-obatan berbahaya (naskoba). Itu berarti penanganan narkoba harus sangat serius.
Hal ini di sampaikan Bupati Gorontalo Utara Indra Yasin, dalam Workshop Penggiat Pencegahan, Pemberantasan, Penyalahgunaan, dan Peredaran Gelap Narkotika (P4GN) di lingkungan pemerintah, yang dilaksanakan di Hotel Maqna Kota, Gorontalo, Kamis (12/08/2021) kemarin.
Kegiatan ini turut dihadiri Kepala Badan Narkotika Nasional (BNN) Provinsi Gorontalo, Ketua DPRD, Kepala BNN Kabupaten Gorontalo Utara, dan Kapolres Gorontalo Utara.
Bupati mengatakan, masyarakat dan pemangku kepentingan tidak hanya sebagai penerima manfaat program, namun sekaligus sebagai pelaksana dalam menciptakan lingkungan yang sehat dan terhindar dari aktivitas peredaran narkoba.
Bersasarkan hasil survei, jumlah pecandu yang terakses layanan rehabilitasi masih sangat sedikit dibanding para yang tidak terakses.
Mereka bertebaran di semua lapisan dalam kondisi mengidap adiksi dan berpotensi mengganggu ketertiban serta memicu masalah di lingkungannya.
Oleh karenanya, Bupati mengajak semua pihak peduli, bangkit, bergerak, dan melakukan upaya P4GN dengan segala potensi yang dimiliki.
Bupati berterima kasih kepada BNN, khususnya BNN Gorontalo Utara, yang telah berupaya serius memerangi peredaran narkoba yang menghancurkan generasi muda. (Adv/SN07)
