SHARENEWS.ID, Gorut- Pemerintah Daerah Kabupaten Gorontalo Utara (Gorut) melalui Bupati Indra Yasin terus berkomitmen dalam mencegah terjadinya penangkapan ikan secara ilegal di wilayah laut Gorut.
Hal tersebut sebagaimana dikatakan Indra Yasin saat menghadiri rapat koordinasi (Rakor) penanggulangan Destruktive Fishing, di Aula RRI Kota Gorontalo, Rabu (12/1/2022).
Indra Yasin saat diwawancarai mengatakan, atas nama Pemerintah Daerah Gorut dirinya menyambut baik atas digelarnya Rakor tersebut, mengingat saat ini angka untuk ilegal fishing di Gorut masih cukup tinggi.
“Menurut saya kegiatan ini sangat penting, karena kedepannya nanti kalau aktifitas ilegal fishing ini masih ada, kekayaan laut kita bisa terancam,” kata Bupati Indra Yasin.
Guna menindaklanjuti Rakor tersebut, Pemerintah Daerah nantinya akan membentuk tim kemanan laut, yang akan melaku patroli untuk menjaga aktifitas ilegal fishing.
“Kita akan siapkan kapal patroli nantiz dan itu akan kita gunakan untuk memantau aktifitas para nelayan di Gorut,” pungkasnya. (Adv/SN07)
