SHARENEWS.ID, Gorut- Pelaksanaan Pilkades serentak di Kabupaten Gorontalo Utara, bakal ditunda. Keputusan tersebut bakal dilakukan Pemerintah Kabupaten Gorontalo Utara, guna mencegah adanya klaster baru di tengah pandemi Covid-19.
Bupati Gorontalo Utara, Indra Yasin jelaskan, Ia lebih mementingkan keselamatan masyarakat, daripada Pilkades yang bisa disebut hajatan sesaat dan bisa mengancam masyarakat, di tengah Covid-19.
“Ini bukan persoalan SE Mendagri RI atau sebera penting pemilihan kepala desa itu, tetapi tentang keselamatan dan kesehatan masyarakat di Kabupaten Gorontalo Utara yang ikut terancam, jika digelar hajatan itu ,” kata Bupati, Selasa ,(10/8/2021).
Kabupaten Gorontalo Utara masih zona merah. Sehingga, sebisa mungkin dan sedini mungkin, kami mencegah penyebaran pandemi Covid-19,” sambungnya.
Dengan ditundanya pemilihan kepala desa serentak di Kabupaten Gorontalo Utara, Ia tegaskan tidak akan memberikan pengaruh negatif terhadap roda pemerintahan daerah.
“Jika kami tunda hajatan ini, maka tidak akan berpengaruh pada pelaksanaan roda pemerintahan daerah. Semua pegawai baik di tingkat daerah, kecamatan dan desa bekerja seperti biasa . Memberikan pelayanan kepada masyarakat, mengayomi serta mengedukasi pencegahan pandemi Covid-19 kepada masyarakat,” tandasnya.(Adv/Sn07)
