SHARENEWS.ID,Gorut-Wakil Bupati (Wabup) Kabupaten Gorontalo Utara (Gorut), Thariq Modanggu, memberikan apresiasi terhadap pelaksanaan Sosialisasi Forum Pembaruan Kebangsaan tingkat Kabupaten Gorut, yang digelar oleh Badan Kesatuan Bangsa dan Politik (Kesbangpol).
Thariq Modanggu usai membuka Forum pembaruan mengatakan, sosialisasi forum pembaruan kebangsaan pada dasarnya memiliki makna strategis, karena berkaitan dengan beberapa hal yang menjadi tanggung jawab dari pemerintah daerah.
“Bentuk tanggung jawab dari pemerintah daerah yang saya maksud itu seperti, keamanan dan ketertiban harmoni antar berbagai kalangan yang ada di daerah, kedua bangsa ini terbentuk atas dasar keberagaman sekolah, bangsa dan daerah, sehingganya forum pembaruan seperti ini sangat penting untuk menjaga keamanan dan ketertiban yang ada di daerah,” ucap Thariq Modanggu, Senin (6/12/2021).
Untuk mencegah terjadinya konflik di kalangan masyarakat lanjut Thariq, perlu adanya pencegahan dini yang wajib dilakukan oleh pemerintah daerah melalui kegiatan-kegiatan diskusi resmi seperti halnya dengan kegiatan sosialisasi forum pembaruan.
“Biar ketika ada potensi konflik yang ada di kalangan masyarakat, forum resmi seperti forum pembaruan ini bisa menjadi satu element penting dalam rangka pencegahan dini, kemudian harus ada komunikasi atas berbagai hal yang muncul di tengah-tengah masyarakat melalui saluran resmi seperti forum,” ujar Thariq.
“Kalaupun dalam forum tidak bisa diselesaikan, maka kita bisa selesaikan melalui rekomendasi Permendagri 34 tahun 2006 tentang pembaruan kebangsaan, dan itu dilakukan oleh masyarakat, dan difasilitasi oleh pemerintah kecamatan, dan pemerintah desa,” tandasnya.(Adv/SN07)
